Reflets de Soie

Reflets de Soie is run by designer Isabelle Mazabraud from Verri�res le Buisson, near Paris. She uses a variety of threads and gives DMC eqivalents wherever possible. An English translation of finishing instructions is supplied. 	Berthe Massiet Chart A reproduction Sampler from the designer's collection, probably from the end of the 19th Century - the original stitcher did not include a date on her sampler. She embroidered four alphabets, spot motifs, and geometric darning patterns. The Sampler is cross-stitched over two threads and incorporates the darning stitch. 	Ann Mitchell Chart This is a reproduction of an old sampler belonging to the designer. It is damaged, so that the original text cannot be made out; she has therefore improvised a verse, which can roughly be translated: More Details As she makes the needle fly She contemplates each stitch with pride It is stiched on 40 count Pearled Barley by Lakeside Linen using Soie d'Alger or DMC. Stitch count is 339 x 387. Stitches used are cross stitch over 2 threads, half cross stitch over 1 thread and satin stitch. The chart is printed over 20 pages for improved readability. Price: £11.00
	Géométrie Rouge (Red Geometry) Chart A cushion design inspired by the Art Déco period. Stitched over 2 threads on natural 30 count linen, using soie d'alger or DMC. Stitch count 165 x 165. Price: £7.25
