Cat's Whiskers Design Studio

Cat's Whiskers is run by designer Janie Hubble and her husband Frank in the Perth Hills, near Perth City, Western Australia. She creates needleart projects for boxtops and accessories. 	Pocket for Roz New! Another in the series of Cat's Whiskers ever-popular scissor pockets, designed to hold a pair of 3 1/2" embroidery scissors. This design comes as a small booklet, which includes the chart and finishing instructions. The design calls for a skein of The Thread Gatherer Silk N Colors 'Needle Ny-dle Noo' silk floss, and is completed on 32 count Belfast Linen 'Misty Blue'. Included is an alphabet chart in the booklet so that you can personalise the pocket should you so wish. Price: £7.00
	Follow your Heart New! A birth sampler incorporating a blend of traditional and contemporary design. Blue, pink and bright colour-ways are offered, and days of the week and months of the year are charted to help make this sampler as easy as possible to complete. Worked in whole cross stitches only, this design will be enjoyed by both beginner and more advanced stitchers. The three colourways are executed in NPI silks with the pink and blue versions stitched on 32 count 'Antique White' Belfast linen and the 'brights' version stitched on 28 'Raw' Cashel linen. $Stitcher\$	Stitcher's Christmas Toy Box Launched at the St Charles Market in the US at the end of September 2009. A fabric box filled with stitching accessories that double as Christmas decorations. There's a Christmas cracker stitching roll, a present scissor fob, a 3" rule pocket, a triangular threadkeep holder and a little tin topper for pins and needles. The colours reflect Christmas in Australia, which is bright and sunny and full of flowers. Originally a teaching piece, the charts, stitching instructions and finishing notes for this project are extremely clear and comprehensive. This design comes as a 20 page booklet. It is available as a chart booklet only at £13.00 or together with a thread & ribbon pack at £29.00. 	Fruits of the Harvest A delicious stitching roll covered in trailing grape vines and harvest fruits, originally a teaching piece for a 'Stitching on the Verandah' event.
